Hey sweeties,

I've been wearing mesh heads for so long now it feels a bit strange to be back in my own skin, but I'm really liking the way this face has turned out. I love mesh heads for a lot of reasons, not least how much easier they are to photograph with shadows and windlights, but sometimes it's nice to feel a little more unique, which can really only be achieved with system skin and savvy layering, IMHO. I'm still holding out for the day we get mesh heads that can be fully customised, with sliders etc; then we can get back to looking a bit more individual. I pretty muh live in my TMP head and, due to the relatively large number of skins and appliers available, plus the ability to layer makeups on the head, I do feel I am able to achieve a semblance of individuality, but I still see an awful lot of people wearing the heads, looking pretty much like my twin, lol. I have, obviously, invested in the Lelutka heads. I think the heads are beautiful but at the moment Flickr looks like a whole load of clones have taken over SL - more skins will help somewhat, I guess. Anyway, on to the details...

Hi guys,

Flickr has been bombarded of late with pictures of the amazing new mesh heads by Lelutka and I'm rather late jumping on the bandwagon but here is my take on the 'Ever' head. I'm a huge fan of mesh heads and I wear my TMP head most of the time. Of course, one of the biggest problems with mesh heads are how limited we are regarding customization and the ability to make oneself look individual. I personally am really holding out for the day we get sliders on our mesh heads but in the meantime we will have to make do with skins and appliers. There are, in my opinion, quite a nice range of appliers available for the TMP heads to the point where I feel my head looks reasonably individual if I mix and match my skin, lipstick, eyeshadows etc. So, with that in mind I am eagerly awaiting the release of appliers for these lovely new Lelutka mesh heads. I'll be really interested to see how different they might look with other skins etc. 

I do really like the Lelutka mesh heads - 'Ever' obviously being my favourite. I won't bother doing any kind of review here as the bloggosphere is crammed with reviews of the heads and everything that you could wish to know is out there. I will only say that I think the price is pretty good (L$2,500) for everything you get with the head - skins, make up, the fabulous skin glow function etc. The heads also blink, have a closed eye option and, of course, come with a selection of eyebrow colours - more than enough to get you started without having to fork out more cash for extra skins etc (unlike the TMP heads). The only skins available at the moment (and which come packaged with the heads) are by Glam affair so they are obviously lovely but, as I said, I am looking forward to having more options before I start wearing this head on a daily basis.

Hey Sweeties,

I've been missing in action for a good few weeks, certain events in RL have kept me occupied and I haven't even logged in to SL for about a month. As usual, I feel totally overwhelmed by the amount of awesome new stuff that has appeared in my absence. I did a mammoth shop the other day and now I'm wondering how on earth I'm going to find time to photograph all my new goodies. My backlog gets bigger and bigger.....

The first thing I wanted to show you are these awesome Noor sets from Tartessos Arts - a living room and a bedroom set. As with all TA stuff, these sets come with lots of cute little decorative items and are packed full of awesome animations. They are materials ready and many items are texture change. I'm really liking the Persian theme and had a lot of fun making the photo set. I spent a bit of time trying to find a suitable dress to wear but in the end I figured I could just smoke my hookah in my undies (cough, choke). 

I'm wearing the mesh body from The Mesh Project and I have to say, I'm loving it, perhaps even more than my Wowmeh. I did absolutely no editing on the body or head on these pics, apart from adding a couple of shadows - I didn't have to liquify anything, the shape is just perfect. I really hope (though I doubt) that they'll introduce the ability to have alpha layers for the body so that we can wear our mesh clothes from other stores. I don't doubt that The Shops Boutique, when it is fully up and running, will have some beautiful clothes but it will still be limiting if we can only wear their brand with these mesh bodies - not to mention I do find The Shops items very expensive. Still, for lingerie or nude use, these bodies are just amazing - and free!!
